Valentine's Dessert


An easy classic Valentine's dessert! 
Chocolate covered Bananas
 
What you need:
  • Strawberries
  • Banana
  • 3 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • Sprinkles 
  • Toothpicks  
  • 1/4 tsp oil

Chocolate covered Straberries
  
Directions:
  • In a saucepan melt chocolate and oil over low heat. The little bit of oil keeps the chocolate from clumping.
  • Wash and dry the strawberries.  Cut the banana in chunks. Pour sprinkles into bowls.
  • Line a plate with wax paper or plastic wrap. I line the plate with valentine's napkins then cover in plastic wrap to make it more festive.
  • Choose a peice of fruit, insert a toothpick, dip in the melted chocolate, dip in sprinkles then place on the plate. Dip all the fruit in chocolate and sprinkles. Put in the fridge for 1 hour or until ready to eat.
