Tea Party Decorations

These tea themed decorations and favours were for my mom's birthday afternoon tea.
Sugar bowl centrepiece and tea bag favours. I was searching for an ceramic tea pot for the centrepiece but I found this ceramic sugar bowl with cork lid instead.
 Tea bag favours:

16 tea bags (2 per person)
8 favour bags
8 thank you chalkboard stickers
16 blank stickers
Black marker
Glue gun
Glue the thank you stickers on the favour bags.
Open 8 tea bags (1 per favour bag)
Stick two stickers on either side of the label on each tea bag. Write the age of the person on the stickers.
Place one wrapped tea bag and one tea bag with stickers in each favour bag. Leave the string out of the bag as a decoration.
Par-Tea Centrepiece:

Ceramic dish (teapot, sugar bowl vase etc.)
2 pieces of black chalkboard paper
Chalk
Ribbon
Hairspray
Glue gun

Place the two pieces of chalk board paper together. Trace and cut out a large circle. Glue the two pieces of chalkboard paper together, making sure that the chalkboard sides are facing out.

Spray the paper with hairspray (this keeps the chalk from smudging too much) let it dry.
Write your message with chalk. Lightly run your finger over the words to give them the chalkboard effect.

Spray with hairspray again. This will keep the chalk from smudging at all. Set aside to dry. Tie the ribbon around the teapot or sugar bowl.
I didn't have anything to do with the presentation or preparation of the food but it was fancy and delicious!
