Family Friendly Super Bowl Party Ideas
Our super bowl parties are going to look a little different this year but that doesn't mean that we can't have a family friendly party. Here are some ideas to entertain the kids and get the familyinto the super bowl spirit.
Even if the whole family doesn't want to watch the game just add some fun games and good food and there's bound to be something for everyone.
Pin the Football in the Quarterback's Hand
This activity is also a fun craft to make with the kids, or it will give them something to do while they're impatiently waiting for the good snacks.
What you need:
- A roll of craft paper or white paper.
- Brown construction paper
- Markers
- Tape
What to do:
- Roll out the craft paper long enough for someone to lay on.
- Trace the outline of the person lying on the paper.
- Using the markers turn the outline into a football player by coloring a uniform and giving him a helmet.
- Cut football shapes out of the brown construction paper. Cut out enough for all the payers and write a player's name on the front of each football
To Play:
Blindfold the first player, give them the football with their name on it, spin them around and see if they can tape the football in the quarterback's hand.
Football Charades
- Brown construction paper
- White paper
- Glue stick
- Markers
What to do:
- Come up with a list of football related words
- Cut out enough football shapes for your words ( I wrote 2 words per football)
- Cut slightly smaller football shapes out of the white paper
- Write the football words on the white football shapes and glue them onto the brown football shapes. You can decorate the other side to look like a football or write out football charades.
To Play:
Each player takes a turn picking a football and acting out the words written on it for the others to guess. Little Miss loves to play charades because Anna and Elsa play charades in Frozen II!
Happy Super bowl!
