Bunny Napkin Holders

The week leading up to Easter this year we were all sick. We weren't much in the mood for decorating or getting ready for Easter. We're starting to feel better now so Easter Monday we're going to do some Easter crafts and have our Easter celebrations. For anyone else looking for some last minute table decor or an Easter craft this is an easy bunny napkin holder idea.
What you need:
•Empty paper towel roll 
•White and pink construction paper
•Eye stickers or googly eyes
• Markers
•Scissors and glue

What to do:
1. Cut the paper towel rolls into 4 equal sections.
2. Cut one peice of white construction paper into 4 strips. 
3.Cover the paper towel rolls with the white construction paper strips. Glue as you roll the paper around the roll.
4. Cut 4 bunny head shapes out of the other peice of white construction paper. Draw a bunny face complete with googly eyes and pink ears. Glue the bunny heads on the rolls. 
5. Cut 4 hearts out of the pink construction paper. Glue one heart to the bottom of each roll. 
Put one rolled up napkin in each bunny napkin holder.

DIY Minecraft Nerf Gun Target

We have been having fun with nerf guns in the backyard this summer. To change it up  from Nerf Gun battles we decided to make some targets to practice on. Materials: Cardboard box Paint pens  Duct tape  Measure the targets, one big circle in the middle, four smaller circles around the middle target. Cut out the circles, measure about a 1/2" from the edge and cut the contour of the small circles. Measure 1" on the center circle and cut the contour. Draw a character on each target. We chose a creeper for the middle target and pigs for the smaller targets. Place the target in their perspective circles, measure twine to hang each target in place. Duct tape the twine to the target and the targets to the support. Tape all the shapes to their respective openings. Add point value for each shape.  It's  time for target practice! Happy crafting!

There are so many great yoga game ideas for kids out there, this is one that I found that is good for all age groups. The original idea was picking up the pom-poms with your toes only but I found that you can make many variations as you go. Ask the kids for ideas as you're playing as well it's fun to see what they will think of. Toe-ga Empty a bag of pom-poms on the floor. Sit in a circle around the pom-poms. Each player sits back, hands on the floor, knees bent. Place an empty bowl near each player's feet. 123 go, using only their toes each player has to put as many pom-poms in their bowl as they can. Yoga pose pom-pom pick up Empty a bag of pom-poms on the floor. Standing or sitting in a circle choose a yoga pose that everyone can do. While in the pose each player has to place as many pom-poms in their bowls as they can.  Some poses to try: Downward dog, use your hands to pick up the pom-poms.  Tree pose use your toes to pick up the pom-poms.
