Fairy Garden Over the Years

Image
One of the things I like most about having this blog for almost 10 years now, is the evolution of the crafts that we do. There are some classics that we do every year, like the fairy garden. Since my first fairy garden post in 2015 we have made one every year. This is what our fairy garden looks like this year (so far) I tend to change it up as the summer progresses.  This is the first  Fairy Garden  we made. Our first attempt at a fairy garden was in a medium plant pot. I like the look of a fairy garden in a plant pot, it looks like its in its own little world. I think I will try another small one this year, I like the simplicity of it. D IY Fairy House  we made this Fairy House out of a small plant pot for our first fairy garden.  In my post The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same  I posted this picture of my little fairy garden the first year at our new place. This was the first post I had shared in a while, I had posted only one post per year in 2017,2018 and 2019. In 2

DIY Stepping Stones

This is not deja vue, I have done this activity before. In a post from Jily 2014, I tried 2 stepping stone kits, one from Michael's and one from Walmart. I still have the handprint stepping stone, it has been in three gardens and survived two moves.  We'll see if these ones survive for as long. Since they are painted, I added a coat of varnish to protect the paint from the rain.  We used a stepping stone kit from Walmart. There is enough plaster to make 6 stones. So far we made three.
