Fall Harvest
Today I picked the last harvest from our little backyard garden. I have a feeling that our first frost isn't far off and I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend to clean out my garden boxes and get them ready for next season. Our havest included the last of our carrots, the rest of the tomatos and peppers. This was our second carrot harvest this summer. I was not used to growing carrots and I think I planted them too close together, some were very small while others were a good size. Nevertheless they were delicious. Our whole family enjoyed our garden this year even our rabbit. Some of our carrots were too small for us but they were the perfect size for sunny bunny. I have already started thinking about what I want to plant next year! Happy gardening!
