Blogmas Day 20: Happy Planner Journaling

I love my Happy Planner! My sister got me started a few years ago and now we both ask for Happy Planners for Christmas. 
I use it for more than planning, I use it for journaling and a little bit of art journaling as well. 
This is a little doodle I did for Christmas. I love using a combination of stickers (no surprise there) with finetip markers and water colour markers.

Parents with young kids might know Tasty Time with Ze Fronk on Disney Junior. My little one, I've said before, sees something on TV and wants to make it asap. Super Mario Party

For Little Misses 4th birthday she wanted a Mario themed birthday party, we'll she wanted a Princess Peach birthday party but she was alright with adding Mario and Luigi. I bought some decorations but I made a Super Mario obstacle course, we even played the theme song while we went through the obstacle course. It was like being inside a video game.  I also made Mario themed cupcakes and snacks. Super Mario themed cupcakes These were fun to make and with some fondant it is easy to make them look like recognizable Super Mario characters.  What you need: Cupcakes (the birthday person's favorite kind) Icing White Fondant (I use white fondant and add food colouring to make the coulours I need but you can also buy already coloured fondant, it's not as messy)  Food Colouring What to do: Frost the cupcakes with the regular icing. DIY Minecraft Nerf Gun Target

We have been having fun with nerf guns in the backyard this summer. To change it up  from Nerf Gun battles we decided to make some targets to practice on. Materials: Cardboard box Paint pens  Duct tape  Measure the targets, one big circle in the middle, four smaller circles around the middle target. Cut out the circles, measure about a 1/2" from the edge and cut the contour of the small circles. Measure 1" on the center circle and cut the contour. Draw a character on each target. We chose a creeper for the middle target and pigs for the smaller targets. Place the target in their perspective circles, measure twine to hang each target in place. Duct tape the twine to the target and the targets to the support. Tape all the shapes to their respective openings. Add point value for each shape.  It's  time for target practice! Happy crafting!
