Valloween Decorations

Valloween, where Halloween meets Valentine's Day. It makes total sense to me, what is scarier than love? Just kidding but there is something to be said for celebrating Valentine's Day (or any holiday)  in a way that speaks to you. This year I am absolutely loving this trend of ghosts enjoying different seasons and activities!  I always have a few ghost decorations out year round but there is something so cute about a little ghost holding a red heart. More and more, I am seeing ghosties in the stores outside of Halloween, which I think is great for spooky people! To embrace this twist on Valentine's Day, I decorated with a spooky winter forest vibe with touch of red and pink.

When I was taking down my Christmas decorations I decided to leave out these grey felt trees and some snowflakes. I wanted to keep a wintery feel in my decorations. These trees remind me trees in group of 7 paintings, civered in snow and swaying in the wind. I added these pink and snowflakes and of course my little ghosts walking through the snowy forest with their red hearts. They are just two little sceens on our living room mantle but they add a touch Halloween mixed with Valentine's Day to my decor.

Happy Valoween and happy crafting!
