Just Add Stickers Castle

I've created a (crafting) monster! If my little one sees something on TV he wants to make it, this includes everything from costumes to food. If it looks too complicated for him he says Mama you can make that. It's very cute. One morning he saw on CBC a castle and he talked about it until we had time to make it that afternoon.

Cost: Under $5.00 use recycled material

Time: About 20 minutes

Material:

  • Empty boxes (I went through the recycling and found a Kleenex box and a granola bar box)
  • Paper towel rolls (or construction paper rolled and glued)
  • Stickers to decorate
  • String for the draw bridge

Directions:

  • Undo the seams of the boxes and flip them inside out and glue the boxes back together.
  • Cut turrets across the top of the smaller box and the paper towel rolls or the construction paper. Cut a door out of the bigger box.

  • Glue the smaller box on top of the bigger box. Glue both towers on top of the bigger box, on either side of the smaller box.
  • Tape one piece of string to each side of the door to create the draw bridge.
  • Decorate the whole castle with stickers and crayons.
Happy creating!
